Custom trunk for installation of audio equipment.          Year Make Model Rating Decade Ranking 1981 Fiat Spider 2000, #366 of 500 405 3 Description Chip Foose: If you are out there, I would like to get some exposure for FIAT, Chrysler, and Foose Design by doing some additional work with Montebello. Please contact me for further details. Montebello was purchased from the city of Montebello, CA. Montebello means "Beautiful Hills" in Italian. I guess that could be construed in many different ways...however, I like to think of it relating to the beautiful lines of a FIAT Spider. She was all original and in dire need of major updating, restoration, and TLC. She had absolutely NO CANCER. I did drive Montebello while in CA with too many hair balls to list here. However, many updates and items were replaced when she arrived back in Michigan, which is also too much to list in this description as well. What started off initially as an interior restoration, turned into everything from her undercarriage, interior (including the addition of Corbeau Seats and custom leather upholstery), engine, and trunk being restored and/or freshened up. Many parts were either replaced with NOS, after market, or OE replacement parts (the list is very lengthy). Her entire complexion was painted in Ferrari Rosso Corsa Red and dressed in Camel Tan leather and trim to compliment her new sex appeal. She also received a custom sound system to rock this little beauty and her occupants while cruising the Michigan roadways with her top down. Over $25,000 was invested in her and I have another $11,000 to go to get her exactly the way I want her. This would be some engine mods and some other aesthetics. As she sits now, she is the center of attention over every "Rolling Hill" in Michigan. Montebello quite simply has that 80s sex appeal, pizazz, and class. Chip Foose, are you out there?
