1989 Chevrolet Custom pickup truck 848 2

Description
I have been an active freelance photographer since 1974. You can imagine the difficulties of choosing a personal vehicle when you photograph world-class cars on a routine basis. All that changed when I discovered the Super Stepside, a unique fiberglass replica looking like a combination of an El Camino and Corvette pickup truck. The truck has been a joy to own, beginning with its sponsored debut at Sema in the Chassis Tech booth and later being chosen as head liner on the World of Wheels circuit. My little driveway-built special was on display next to Chip Foose''s $6 million Impressions car. What an honor! Most recently, it was profiled in the television series Kit An Autobody Experience. The truck has been well received around the world with feature articles in Australia, London, Germany, and the United States. Equipped with 14 speakers, three monitors, a 10 CD player, and rear view camera the audiovisual system is great fun. The truck also has flamethrowers, nitrous, airbag suspension, and rolls on 20/24 inch wheels. Now pushing 70, this is the most fun truck I have ever owned.

Good job Joe! I've seen this car up close recently and it's off the scale! A solid 10 for me. I look forward to seeing it again when mine is complete. It is truely amasing to think this car is (WAS) a 1989 four door Caprice!

This is an amazing show car. I like it a lot. However, it doesn't really reflect the 1980's decade, in my honest opinion. It doesn't look like ANYTHING that I have ever seen. That's a good thing, and a bad thing. Beautiful show stopping ride. Amazing craftsmanship. Just in the wrong contest, IMO. The GNX is the best reflection of the 80's in this current group of cars... This car, truck, creation, although beautiful, it DOES NOT reflect ANY decade.
