1967 Ford Shelby Mustang Coupe 90 0

Description
The concept of the GT500CP was based on Carrol Shelby''s 1967 Prototype Coupe (also known as ''Lil Red''), a car that Carrol Shelby only build one of in 1967. This Mustang was built as a tribute to Carrol Shelby combining the original Ford/Shelby aspects with up-to-date subtle touches. GT500CP is equipped with a mustang deluxe interior comforted with power windows, a/c and leather wrapped seats by Stitch Corp. The powertrain has a 1967 Ford 427 FE 8V Tunnel Port backed by a 1967 Toploader with Gear Vendors Overdrive pushing power down to a Ford 9" w/3.89 Gear & Detriot locker by Currie Enterprises then to the ground with Foose 500''s, 19x8 front & 20x9 rear, wrapped with Pirelli PZero''s. The suspenion to handle the estimated 786hp engine is a Total Control adjustable coilover suspension front and rear with 6 Piston Calipers and 14" rotors by Baer Brakes. This pony is truly one of kind and can be seen in Popular Hot Rodding (Mar 09) and Muscle Car Power (Aug 09) magazines. For more build info and pics, go to www.gt500cp.com.
